Dr. Zonp Özaslan is a mental health nurse, psychiatric rehabilitation practitioner and family counselor. She is currently an international post-doctoral research fellow funded from TUBITAK in the field of gender-based violence (GBV) . Her research interests include help-seeking and healing after GBV. Dr. Zeynep Zonp Özaslan is working with Turkish women in Turkey and immigrants in the US at present.
